Lydia Ryba joined the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in 1997 as executive assistant to the Chief Investment Officer. As interim director, Grants Management department, she currently oversees the grantmaking processes that foster more than $700 million in funding annually. This includes managing and coaching 10 grants management professionals.
Prior to joining the Foundation in 1997, Lydia was with Bell Atlantic for 12 years. During her tenure with Bell Atlantic, Lydia assumed the roles of Sales Compensation manager, Accounts Receivable manager and the final role of assistant controller.
Lydia resides in Hamilton, N.J., with her husband, son, and dog, a Yorkshire Terrier. She enjoys 80’s new wave music, reading, and trips to Cape May, N.J.
