About This Opportunity
Reporting to the senior Human Resources officer, the recruiter will be responsible for the full life-cycle hiring process for all Foundation roles. The recruiter will work closely with hiring teams and recruitment partners to achieve Foundation goals and identify and select highly-qualified people who are driven, individually and collaboratively, and will both support our mission and demonstrate our values related to equity.

Essential Job Responsibilities
- Manage the full life-cycle hiring process for all Foundation roles, including sourcing, interviewing, presenting candidates, and negotiating offers; embedding equity practices into all facets of the process.
- Manage the work of the Foundation’s external partners to support recruitment activities.
- Collaborate with hiring managers, interview teams to develop recruitment strategies, work closely to execute the search process, engage and interview teams and candidates, while utilizing a proactive, organized, service-oriented approach to recruitment-related activities.
- Ensure equity.
- Promote RWJF's brand and foster a positive candidate experience.
- Provide guidance and/or develop job descriptions and assist with the evaluation and classification of Foundation positions.
- Conduct candidate interview screens and assess potential candidates for level of interest, qualifications, and compensation requirements.
- Manage applicant tracking system.
- Coordinate the onboarding of new staff and conduct new hire orientations.
- Provide recruitment updates including trends and obstacles, as well as recruitment analytics and reporting.
- Contribute to developing, refining, and implementing an Foundation-wide recruitment strategy that reaches and attracts diverse candidate pools.
- Respond to the Foundation’s evolving strategic plan, mission, vision, and values to include building strong referral networks and cultivating relationships.
Minimum Requirements

- Analytics and Data Intelligence: Strong diagnostic, analytical, and quantitative skills with experience translating data into strategic guidance.
- Consulting Skills: Demonstrated coaching and counseling skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, and gain the respect and confidence of partners.
- Communications: Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize material and focus quickly on the essence of an issue. Able to present and facilitate small and large groups. Experience creating talent acquisition resource tools (e.g., interview guides, rubrics).
- Technology: Demonstrated ability to use technology (e.g., MS Office, HRIS systems, specifically Workday) to gather, interpret, organize, and present data. Workday recruitment experience a plus.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to effectively work on multiple searches, assignments, activities, or projects. Knowledge of project management methodologies and approaches helpful.
- Industry Education and Experience: Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or Business Management and minimum of four (4) years in recruitment or equivalent HR work experience required (experience working in a nonprofit field preferred). HR certification (PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP) a plus.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
The recruiter will perform job duties in a typical business office environment. Specific physical abilities required by this job include operating basic office equipment. Will be required to attend meetings, potentially both in person and off-site via phone or videoconference. Some domestic travel may be required. Salary
